First Reusable Container Certified to ISO 23907-2:2019
At Sanypick, we have reached a new milestone by becoming the first company in the European Union to obtain certification for a reusable container for bio-contaminated clinical waste according to ISO 23907-2:2019 standard. This achievement reinforces our commitment to innovation, biosafety and the development of sustainable solutions for the healthcare sector.
Our new container has been designed to complete more than 50 cycles of use, decontamination and reuse, replacing up to 50 equivalent single-use containers. As a result, hospitals and healthcare facilities can significantly reduce plastic waste, lower their environmental footprint and move towards a circular economy model.
The certification confirms that the container has successfully passed rigorous tests for safety, durability, transport, decontamination and long-term performance. In addition, it incorporates a fully automated decontamination process and RFID technology to ensure full traceability throughout the container’s entire life cycle.
With this new development, Sanypick continues to invest in innovative solutions that help build a safer, more efficient and environmentally responsible healthcare system
